Sisters are basically built-in best friends. For sisters Toni and Tara, they have a bond that goes even deeper. Watching her older sister go to gymnastics practice every week was tough to witness for Toni, especially knowing she couldn’t participate. When Toni was diagnosed with sickle cell disease at birth, she immediately began receiving treatment at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center. At 5 years old, she underwent a bone marrow transplant. Her perfect donor? Her older sister, Tara. Now, you can find Toni on the gymnastics mat, living her dream
